Certainly this is something to keep a watch on. In a world where millennials and future graduates are told their jobs will no longer exist and investigations as to what we do with people when they are replaced by a robotic workforce.
Employing AI into the human brain will be a fantastic way of solving this key problem. However, there will be debate about how you select people who all have the same knowledge base... I'll certainly be watching this carefully!!
Tesla chief executive Elon Musk has launched Neuralink, a start-up which aims to develop technology that connects our brains to computers. A report from the Wall Street Journal, later confirmed in a tweet by Mr Musk, said the company was in its very early stages and registered as a “medical research” firm. The company will develop so-called “neural lace” technology which would implant tiny electrodes into the brain.
